$14 a quart now for ATF? Amazon has to keep the price at $10.49 per bottle. Otherwise there is no point in buying it from amazon. Local auto-racing stores sell it for $10.49.
As for performance I did 3 drain and refills on my car, I have not seen any difference in shifting. The fluid gets dark very fast (after driving a few miles), unlike some other ATFs.

Mityvac 7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus Review

Mityvac 7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus
Average Reviews:

Works great. The dispensing feature is the key feature that sets this apart from other tools. It's makes it extremely easy to get the used oil into containers for recycling. No more funnels/towels for spills etc.
Granted, instructions may not be completely detailed, but this is a TOOL not an appliance. One shouldn't expect a wrench to come with 10 pages of instructions.
For those of you complaining about slow suction, here are some tips:
1) Warm up the engine.
2) Use the largest tube that fits down the dipstick
3) Remove the oil fill cap!!! Modern crankcases are airtight. If you don't remove the oil fill cap, then the only way for air to get in to displace the oil you're sucking out is the tiny space between the dipstick and the tube. You're forming a vaccuum that is working against the tool.
If you've imploded your tool, you've overpumped it, there was something else that was holding up your suction that you did not address.
If you doubt the speed, first practice using the new tool with plain water (clean unit only please: don't mix water with your oil) to get an idea of how everything works, and make sure you don't have any leaks in your connections.

Hayden, Inc. 516 Transmission Oil Cooler Review

Hayden, Inc. 516 Transmission Oil Cooler
Average Reviews:

Easy enough to install, though I had to get another hose/screw connector to make it work with the Chevy 1500 (2006). The 2006 model has solid metal lines, and the adapters weren't in sufficient # (needed 3 only had 2). Auto parts store hooked me up though it could have been a real bear.
It's OBVIOUS the transmission is running cooler, as you can touch the final tube on the stock trans oil cooler, and then touch the final tube on the Hayden. HUGE difference.

Marvel MM14R Mystery Oil 1 Gallon Review

Marvel MM14R Mystery Oil 1 Gallon

This stuff works better then most of the fuel system cleaners on the market today. It will also work as an oil system cleaner, assembly lube, and general maintenance lubricant. Marvel's mystery oil also makes an air tool oil which works equally as well. This is an old tried & true product. Very good buy!

Probably the single best oil money can buy. This oil consists of mostly Group V base stock, which is why the price is so high, even among "boutique" oils. But if you are a racer or run a car very hard that is already tough on oil (turbo's, direct injection, etc, are brutal on an oil) this may be for you.

3-in-1 Hand Pump Siphon Gas Oil Liquid Air Review

3-in-1 Hand Pump Siphon Gas Oil Liquid Air
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased exactly the same one as the one shown here for transmission oil change, but decided to use it for motor oil change beforehand. Good thing I did, since it was extremely inefficient in pumping oil. Instruction says pump it 3~4x and let the gravity do the work but it doesn't trickle out for a second then nothing would come out (I kept the drain portion lower than the intake as instruction says). It appears the fittings and pump itself have air leaks since the fittings cannot be securely fastened/tightened to form air tight seal. I even used tapes to create better air seal, and still it took about 1.5hr of pumping to get 3 quart out... Good really vigorous shoulder exercise meanwhile~. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for.
I guess it might be ok for a small amount of liquid, but for anything more than a quart or so, this may not be a practical tool. Just wanting to let others know so that they know what this can be useful for.

Dura Lube HL-DLOS-06 32oz Advanced Engine Treatment Review

Dura Lube HL-DLOS-06 32oz Advanced Engine Treatment
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I first came across Dura Lube twelve years ago, while living on the east coast. And it does what it says; in cold starts, the car would start fresh, as if it was warmed up. Anyone who lives in a cold climate knows that grinding sound as the cold oil washes back up into the engine, and how that means a shorter engine life. And while I am currently in California, I use DuraLube still. I hear the difference, and since my 2004 Toyota Solara (Which has been great, no problems) has 150k miles on it, I am convinced Dura Lube is a winner. Highly recommend, and I have nothing to do with the company. [...]

CD2 4111 Oil Detergent. 15 oz. Review

CD2 4111 Oil Detergent. 15 oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I ordered this but received CD-2 Company Part No. 4111R. The bottle is the same, but the labeling is different; for example, it does not say "CD-2 Maxx", but only "Oil Detergent". I'm not sure whether the product illustrated is a later or earlier version. I added the product to a car already using full synthetic Mobil 1 Ext. Perf., and was able to tell the engine performance improved right away; it ran "tighter" and the connection between the gas pedal movement and the delivered engine power was more solid than before. Whether it cleans up sludge or engine internals is too early to tell.

MotorKote MK-HL32-06 32oz Hyper Lubricant Review

MotorKote MK-HL32-06 32oz Hyper Lubricant
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had bought a used 2002 PT Cruiser with about 35,000 miles on it as a daily driver and to haul stuff around in the back. Good car, but the engine was kind of coarse & a little noisy, which was a common complaint with them. Gas mileage was so-so, another common complaint. Throughout the next year, I got used to the car being that way.
After seeing a demonstration of MotorKote (using the Timken test for friction) at Summit Racing in Tallmadge, OH, I decided to give it a shot. Within the first 20 miles of that oil change, the engine started to smoothen out. By 100 miles, I was hearing a different noise from the usual engine growl at freeway speeds... It was the TIRE tread noise! I'd never heard the tires on the pavement before, because the engine noise covered it up! The engine became (and stayed) amazingly quiet and smooth. Gas mileage improved about 2 mpg, and stayed that way.
Let the naysayers say what they like. It worked for me. By the way, you don't add MotorKote at every oil change... only every 4th one. Instead of listening to everyone else's "blah, blah, blah" about this, I'd suggest you check out MotorKote's website, and ALSO look up the Timken (as in Timken Bearings) friction test for lubricants. It's legit... I checked.

Lucas 10002 Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. Gallon Review

Lucas 10002 Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. Gallon

Lucas products were recommended to me by my friend's neighbor. He once worked as a mechanic at a dealership, then decided he wanted to be his own boss and now does restorations on classic cars for some famous and some not-so-famous people.
I took his advice and bought this. After adding about a pint to my oil, I noticed that my truck immediately ran more smooth, and was more quiet. I simply *hear* less wear-and-tear in my engine. Acceleration also seems faster. I'm looking forward to buying more products off of the Lucas line.

Mityvac 7400 7.3 Liter Fluid Evacuator Review

Mityvac 7400 7.3 Liter Fluid Evacuator
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I used this on my 2002 BMW and it seemed to work great, but the next time I went to use it- oil started coming out of the T-Handle where air normally is the only thing that escapes. I called the manufacturer, and they advised me that some synthetic oils (Mobil 1 in my case) can cause the seals in the lower part of the canister to degrade and will allow oil to bypass. They informed me that it would be covered under warranty- but Tool Topia is not working with me. When you call the line for returns, they have you leave a message- nobody ever calls you back either. I have called 4 times in the last 6 days- and nothing.
Don't buy this if you use synthetic oil, it won't last long enough for your second oil change.

I was in the automotive field most of my life. My family started an automotive retail/wholesale business in California when I was five years old. I stayed in it until age forty-five. Upon my retirement, along with my brother and brother-in-law, I have seen and sold most all the brands of filters available. Other than maybe some extravagent custom filter with a price to go with it, I learned from test and my own use that Wix has a great quality product that you can be assured that you are getting every cent of value that you deserve for your large investment that you drive.
